I love the story on the foster horses! It's so wonderful to take care of such beautiful creatures in need. And they are sooo tiny!

On the other end of the spectrum, just started a site to help discourage unnecessary spays and neuters and am wondering if you can help me get the world out. I was hoping for a link somewhere in your blog. We just saw a beautiful Snowshoe cat who was in heat and needed to be bred that one time, but the owner couldn't find any unrelated studs no matter how hard we searched the web. It seems like the only choice is to subject an animal to an unneeded surgery these days. When it comes to small families where unexpected pregnancies can be avoided, it's only fair in my mind to let the pet be mate with a partner rather than cut... it's only natural right?

So I created www.crittercouples.com in hopes that people will be able to bring their pets together in a healthy and natural way. Any help you can lend would be great! I know it's a little obtuse compared to fostering, but they both have to do with bringing beautiful animals into this world in a responsible fashion!

Thanks,
Alan
