I remember the photos you sent of him hunting out west with the pheasants lined up. Hooch will always be that special dog for you. I have really good dogs now who each have a place in my heart but Reilly was my #1 “heart dog” so I understand.

Yes, he was 16yrs. old, so we had alot of great yrs. with him. He was an awesome pheasant hunter. We are on our third lab; a black one. He’s a good boy too, but I think “hooch” holds a special place in our hearts. We’ve always talked about getting another one from you.

good to hear from you — I’m sure you must miss him. Was he in his teens when he passed away? We’ve been fortunate that our Labs seem to have extraordinarily long lives but they are never long enough. Do you have another Lab now?

Nessie looks so much like our Dunns marsh moonshine that we bought from you yrs ago. Sadly he is gone and missed every day. He was a joy!! I also remember walking in and meeting Reilly.
